Chris has been our animal caretaker for as long as we can remember. Keith is an equine veterinarian and has the utmost faith in Chris’s care and knowledge of animals. When we go out of town, we are confident that our horses, dogs, and cats will be properly tended to and we will be promptly notified of any concerns about their condition. Chris has a true love of animals demonstrated in caring for our aging Dachshund who is partially paralyzed and requires special care. So if your pet has medical needs, chances are Chris has experience in administering their treatment. If she hasn’t, she is more than willing to learn. We recommend Chris heartily and without reservation. She is kind, dependable, and will care for your pets like they were her own.

For those of you looking for a pet sitter, look no more! You have found the perfect person for the job! Regardless of the size of your pet, horse, dog, cat, whatever it is, Chris will take great care of it when you cannot. Chris is very reliable and capable. I have had Chris taking care of my horses dogs and cats for about 12 years now. She has house sat for me when I've been out of town. I trust her to always do what is right for my animals and if there is ever a sick one when I'm gone, she notifies me and does whatever needs done. She'll call the vet if necessary and wait for them to show up. She is good at handling the difficult ones too. She always makes sure the water buckets are filled, everyone is fed, all gates and stall doors are secured. You can trust her with your pets and your home! You will be able to leave town, go to work, or whatever you need to do with a peace of mind that your best friends are in good hands!

Over the past 10 years, we have called on Chris to house sit on numerous occasions while we were traveling. She is conscienous, trustworthy, reliable and has done a great job of taking care of all of our horses, goats, dogs and cats. She truly loves animals, and I would highly recommend her to care for your pets

As many as 25 head of cattle, five horses, two dogs, a handful of barn cats and one house cat. An occasional tank or two full of fish. Plus too many flowers and gardens to count. A swimming pool with constant “needs.” A lot to take care of. Yet, for probably ten years now, Chris has been watching over our “pets” and property, sometimes for weeks at a time, and has never given us cause for concern about anything. One of our horses has been on daily meds for years (and he didn’t like to take it!), yet Chris always made sure he received what he was supposed to and when. Routines are important for animals, and Chris’s routine never varies – it’s always right on the money. Not only has she always done precisely what she said she would do, and done it very well, she has handled the inevitable emergencies when they have arisen (like a horse kicking a swinging feeder out of the wall or developing a sore foot) with decisiveness, responsibility and care, even when she could not get a hold of us for guidance. Chris is highly experienced with the day to day care of any kind of animal and is absolutely, positively, 100% trustworthy with your treasured pets and livestock, as well as your personal property. She also keeps the gardens blooming when the rain doesn’t fall. And all for a very reasonable price. We could not recommend her more highly.

My husband and I have relied on Chris to care for Max, our 28-year-old retired horse, for over four years. Max requires a great deal of TLC due to numerous physical ailments. Without the knowledgeable, dependable care that Chris provides, we would find it very difficult to travel. In addition to providing excellent care to Max, we can always count on Chris to pick up our newspapers, bring in our mail, and water our flower. It gives us great peace of mind to know that Max will be provided the same level of care that we ourselves provide.
